Drottningholmsteaterns Vänner bildades 1935 på Waldemarsudde. Idag har Vänföreningen drygt 1500 medlemmar. Vänföreningens syfte är att ge ett långsiktigt ekonomiskt stöd till Drottningholms Slottsteater så att teatern, en unik historisk miljö, kan fortsätta att vara en internationellt ansedd scen för tidig musik.
